- Participants will develop skills to enhance their ability to excite young people about their physical and nutritional health.

Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT)
The purpose of the HECAT, developed by the CDC, Division of Adolescent and
School Health, is to help state and district health education curriculum
specialists choose or develop curricula that contain the same
characteristics that have been found to effectively promote healthy
behaviors among young people. Each participant will receive and ATODA
curriculum and the HECAT document for your use. Cost is free if you attend
the symposium or $50 if you just come for this valuable workshop.
Limited to 35 participants.
