Objectives:
To learn something new in several areas at the Women and Science Program
at UW-SP and to submit a PowerPoint presentation (or a substitute of
something similar) based on Metabolism in Animals.
Requirements:
Prior to the Women in Science week read information
pertaining to animal metabolism (you will be sent the laboratory hand out if
you register for the course).
Consider possible objectives for a power point presentation (or substitute
type of project) to be based on some type of Animal Metabolism following the
Women in Science Day on Campus.
Attend 6 hours of Women in Science
presentations with one of those presentations being the " Mice, Ice and
Rats, " workshop.
Submit a power point presentation (or
substitute type of project) that can then be used in a classroom
presentation on some aspect associated with this metabolism presentation
(i.e. hypothermia, metabolism, physiology, etc.)
Submission of the power point presentation
(or substitute) due December 17th, 2008, unless other
arrangements are made prior to taking the course.
Full payment must accompany the
registration form.
